All of my friends and sort of influence. my wife
and best friend Angela, OSHO, Yan, Ron, Parageet,
Till, Lena, Nik, Vijaiya, Malti, Andreas, Leander,
Nic, Bernhard, Mik, Gaby, Joey, Mark, John, Charles,
Nana Ernest, José, Ede, Detlef, Fritz, Holler, Manny,
Anja, Peter, Arno and I hope there will be more
coming up.
Influences:
first of all, the Beatles, the Who, the Kinks, and
later: King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Gentle Giant, Yes,
Man, Iron Butterfly, --Mahavishnu Orchestra, Indian
Traditionals, Music from Java, Igor Stravinsky,
Claude Debussy, Edvard Grieg, Mustapha Teddy
Addy, Kakraba Lobi, and then I ended up for now
with Porcupine Tree but this is not the end because
there were and still are so many good musicians out
there.

Since 1966 I..m involved in all kind of musical
events, like beat, rock, soul, blues, ethnic -
whatever it means- I define it worldmusic. In the
beginning it was the guitary and bass which I
choosed to play. Later there was the drumming
and electronics which I tried to understand and
use for my pleasure, and I had a lot. Most
successful projects have always been the ones
with the least effort, when I followed my inner
voice and basic rule: easy is right and right is
easy, as to be heard on some CDs for relaxation
distributed by newearthrecords. There..s no thing
like a favorite style, I simply love to play too
many different ways of life itself. Music is such a
fascinating multiverse with no ending never. only
our very short lifetime will finish the participation
in this kind of world.
